The breast implants can also be done in men. There are many cases in which men have underdevelopment of the chest or a disproportion of the pectoral muscles. The type of implant used is drop-shaped, that is, anatomical. These prostheses are composed of cohesive or solid silicone, that is, in case of breakage, the silicone could not spread through the tissues.
To perform this procedure, a small incision is made under the large pectoral muscle and above the ribs. A small incision will always be made so that the scar is almost invisible.

WHAT IS THE POST-OPERATIVE CARE LIKE?
After the operation, the patient will have to wear a drain for 24 hours, which will be removed when they are discharged and will also have to wear a vest for the first fifteen days to prevent the prosthesis from moving.
