En los últimos años, la técnica de la lipoinjection has been acquiring more popularity and acceptance. This surgical procedure consists of fat extraction surplus from a certain area, and later that fat infiltrates another area that you want to fill or increase its volume, generally on the face.
La grasa, que normalmente se obtiene del abdomen o los glúteos, sirve; se introduce en zonas que necesiten un relleno discreto, como por ejemplo mejillas, surcos nasolabiales, surcos nasogenianos, otras zonas faciales o glúteos.
Lipoinjection is often confused with liposuction, but it must be clarified that they are different techniques. Liposuction, on the other hand, does not reuse the extracted fat, but rather it is collected in a vacuum machine. Both techniques serve to model the figure and are also called liposculpture, in no case to lose weight. If after the intervention the patient gains weight, he or she will recover the eliminated fat.
The procedure followed is a small 5 mm wide incision in the navel or in any part of the body where there is excess fat and then the lipoinjections are performed with a cannula or syringe for everyday use through the skin and without leave no external mark.
One of the great advantages of lipoinjection is that it is a natural filling, since what is infiltrated is the patient's own tissue and this makes it difficult for complications such as allergic reactions or intolerances or the formation of granulomas to appear.
Sin embargo, una de las grandes preguntas que se hacen las personas interesadas en realizarse una lipoinyección es si es posible inyectarse la grasa previamente extraída de otro paciente. La respuesta es que no se puede realizar, ya que se trata de un tejido vivo y podría generar una reacción de rechazo similar a los casos de trasplante de corazón, hígado o riñón.
